A new officer team elected, conference recap, and many photos!
The 2022 National PAS Conference was held in Minnesota from March 16th-19th. Over 400 PAS
students, advisors, post-secondary faculty members, and industry representatives were present at this event. PAS members were kept busy throughout the four days with over 40 CPA contests,
several interactive workshops, many sessions, a career fair, an auction, and networking
opportunities. Students from Minnesota, Iowa, Idaho, Missouri, Illinois, Washington, New York, Wisconsin, and Wyoming were able to meet in person, network with industry professionals, learn about agricultural operations across the United States, and strengthen the value of PAS. The
National PAS Board of Directors wants to thank all the individuals who assisted in the process of judging contests and entering data, those involved in conference planning, the advisors who took the time to attend this event with their students, and our 2022 sponsors who allowed this event to be made possible. We also would like to thank our 2022 Conference Charity Partner: The Food Group, as we were able to help collect food drive items for thirty-two counties across MN and WI. At the delegate meeting, the proposed bylaw change was approved, increasing the number of post-secondary faculty board seats to up to five and the number of industry representative board seats to up to six individuals. This was the first in-person National PAS Conference since 2019 and we could not have asked for a better turnout, given the unknowns of the world we are living in. The National PAS Board of Directors is already planning the 2023 National PAS Conference!
